JIM V – I am a 58 year old male and 15 months ago I felt tired and weak. I also was 15 lbs overweight. I couldn’t stay consistent with any exercise or diet plan I was putting myself on, so I decided to give Jaime Brenkus a call at Lean Living. Jaime and I talked about a proper diet and he said what I needed at my age was to build lean muscle, eat properly and burn more fat. He said I had to commit to at least two workouts a week and he would hold me accountable to my diet. I agreed and we got started. A few weeks into the program, I started to see and feel the difference. I truly felt better and did have more energy.
At 3 months I was in better shape than I had been in for 30 yrs. I was feeling great both physically and mentally, and then I had a routine check up and 30 days later was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. I went through radiation treatment and was given a shot that wiped out my testosterone for 9 months. I continued working out with Jaime while in treatment. There were times when I wanted to give up, but Jaime kept encouraging me and each time I worked out, I actually felt better. If I hadn’t gotten that 3 month head start on my health and fitness program, I would have never done so well with the treatment.
I am now 6 months out of treatment, continuing my wellness program and feeling great! I would recommend to everyone male or female, start eating better and exercise. I started again at 57 and 15 months later I feel more energized, my clothes fit better and I am more confident. I also stopped having to take cholesterol medicine and blood pressure pills. CHUCK ANTOLIK – Thanks to Jaime Brenkus, I have lost 29 pounds in the past 6 weeks. More importantly, my Doctor was astonished at the difference in my numbers. My cholesterol went from 246 to 172. My LDL went from 179 down to 119, my HDL went up three notches from 32 to 35. The most dramatic change was my Triglycerides –going from 193 down to 51.
JOHN S VERES – Jaime Brenkus was very, very instrumental in helping me “recover” my body. I am 76 years old and have always been very athletically active. I have been rowing on an indoor Concept II machine for the last 15 years. 2 1/2 years ago I tore my hamstrings while rowing (due to not properly stretching before and after rowing). As a result I could not row or exercise for 5 months and my muscles atrophied to the point that I could not even lift a half gallon of milk. I went to the Cleveland Clinic and was not happy with their rehab program. Finally I consulted with Jaime and showed him a picture of when my body was really “cut”. ROBERT ALABAMA – For years I said “I would start my diet on Monday!” Well Monday never came and I gained over 100 pounds! Starting at 367 in just 7 weeks I have lost 35 pounds with Jaime’s Plan. I get to eat six (6) meals a day, I am never hungry and I am still losing an average of 5 pounds a week. My first goal was 60 pounds, but now I have my eye on 117 pounds which will take me back to my high school years when I played football (don’t tell anyone that was over 35 years ago). I know I will be healthier. My glucose has dropped over 120 points and my blood pressure is a calm 120/70! Thanks Jaime for helping me see my grandkids grow up.

With my incredible trainer Andrea, I have changed my body from being frumpy & middle-aged, to being strong & lean. I’ve lost weight on ALL kinds of programs before, but NOTHING compares to building muscle in your body. It’s actually fun to go clothes shopping now, and not a worry when you are invited to a cookout on a hot summer’s day to show up in shorts. My only regret is I wish I would have done it 10 years ago! What an excellent DVD for those of us who are just beginning to exercise again. I am 62 y/o, and just starting an exercise at home program and this DVD is perfect for that purpose. The sections make sense, are organized, and most importantly, different every day to keep you interested. They are not hard and the instructor is positive and gives a lot of encouragement and methods to complete the exercises that will fit your current abilities, most of all, it is only 8 min. per section. I highly recommend doing the warm up and warm down sections in addition to the daily workout.
I am 69 and try to do some type of exercise 5-6 days a week. Two days a week I do line dancing for an hour each day. I do the treadmill at the gym 2 days a week for 30 minutes each day. What was missing was the toning exercises. I don’t like to use the machines at the gym. This DVD does the toning. I do this one to two days a week; usually 2 8-minute sessions each day. But if I only have time to do one session that is good. I have had this 2 months and already I see toning in my arms and abs. Something I did not expect is I am having less pain in my knees.
I thought I was going to have to stop dancing because of the pain in my knees even with knee braces. With 11 different sessions and the short time I am never bored. The man does give attention to form and when appropriate gives an alternative to the movement he is doing. This DVD is worth every dime. You will not get results overnight but based on how I use it and to see some toning in 2 months is amazing. I have bought exercise DVDs for years and have about 20. This is now at the top of my list and the only one I use because of time and the results I am seeing.

CAROL – I did this workout with you on recording at home just now. The stretch in my lower back was wonderful when doing the squats while touching the floor. PIERRE – I own a bar in Paris, France. I have been doing your 8min exercises for years now and most of all, passing it on to absolutely every single person I know who wanted to exercise! Thank you! Thank you for the kindness you put in those videos and for who you are! Seeing the most recent videos you posted really shows you are this kind hearted person who just want people’s good. Finally searching who was the man in those 90s videos, I learnt that you were not getting credit for them.
From now on, i’ll make sure to pass on the link to your own youtube channel videos that you get the reward of helping people out so much! Your videos are motivating, inspiring and, as you say it, they work! hang on, it it You who are motivating and inspiring! In confinement now, i do 8min abs everyday and alternate the others after and I Always finish by the best stretching routine there is: your 8min stretch! At the end of it, I always feel so good, relaxed, absolutely in peace with myself and uplifted to start the day. Thank you again a million for creating those videos and for your positive energy. PAT ERWEN – Thanks! I want to take this opportunity on my 75th birthday to tell you how much you have changed my life in the last 5 months. I walked my dog every morning for eight years, and when he passed, I found myself getting lazier and lazier without those eyes looking up at me saying it was time to get going. I’ve never been sedentary but have not exercised aside from walking, so last May I Googled walking programs for seniors and found Rock the Walk.
I couldn’t deny that I did have 8 minutes every day and decided I could try it without making a huge commitment. The first couple of days I did almost die in my own sweat 😉 but two weeks in to following the program, I was feeling pretty proud of myself. And then came a month and then another month and the difference in the way I feel physically and the effect on my outlook is incredible. My routine today is 30 min M-F, and 20 min Sat & Sun. as you say, some days it’s not easy but I am living proof it’s worth it. So thank you Jaime Brenkus for the birthday wish and thank you even more for the gift of health.
